On the 1 train today, guy with a sketchbook gets on at 59th St and sits next to me. He asks if he can draw me. I said “sure”, but told him I didn’t have any cash (they always expect a tip) and I was getting off at 72nd St (2 stops). He kept sketching anyway. I got up to exit at 72nd and he ripped this off his pad and told me to take it and to have a great day. It’s not bad for less than 5 minutes.
